Workshop Overview The Project Management @ Work seminar is a 3-day, hands-on workshop that combines standard project management methodologies with Microsoft Project software. Each participant has the opportunity to develop a real-life project plan, including supporting documents, based on their own project idea.

During the workshop, participants utilize templates that map to each phase of the project lifecycle (Initiate / Plan / Execute & Control / Close). Each participant creates a Project Charter to formally initiate a project, develops a project schedule in Microsoft Project, learns project execution and control techniques, and how to properly close a project while harvesting documentation for possible reuse. All processes, procedures, and terminology are based on the Project Management Institute Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
